Just wanted to give you guys a bit of an update because I haven’t been very active. Two weeks ago I got diagnosed with Binge Eating Disorder. I always felt like I had it, but I just recently got diagnosed by a professional. If you don’t know what Binge Eating is, it is when you eat large amounts of food in a short period of time, that being called an episode. It is hard to explain really what it is and what it feels like. To compare it to something, it feels like you are zoned out when your binging. It is a very weird feeling. I’m currently on a medication to help with my disorder, and so far it has been working great. The reason I wanted to share is because so many people out there struggle with this disorder. You aren’t alone, and you aren’t the only one struggling with this issue. I’ve been dealing with this for about a year. People through social media and on blog sites open up and talk about their experiences with Binge Eating. Because of them, it made me want to reach and tell my story. I’m not ready to completely open up this post, but I’m going to making monthly updates about this topic.

If you or anyone you know is struggling with an eating disorder, please seek help. You may be reluctant at first, but you will feel like a huge weight is off your shoulder when your done.
