My Top Five Favorite Clinique Products

Clinique products are hands down my favorite brand out in the market. Some would say that I’m totally obsessed.  I started using Clinique about 3 years ago, and I have stuck with them ever since. If you haven’t tried their products yet, here are some that you should definitely try. Clinique is great for all skin types so it’s something to look into if you are struggling with choosing products. Here are my top five favorite Clinique products:

5.  Clinique Happy Gelato Cream in the scent Sugared Petals

I love this product because it smells so amazing and it makes my skin feel so moisturized.   The lotion feels like butter, but doesn’t make you feel oily or sticky.  The scent sinks into your skin and you can smell it all day long. If you are obsessed with containers, you will probably fall in love with this packaging.

Use: All over body lotion

Price: $35

4.  Almost Lipstick in the shade Black Honey

I couldn’t do this post without including a lipstick. This “Almost Lipstick” is one of the best lip products I’ve ever tried. The formula keeps the product smooth and moisturizing. It’s not drying and it doesn’t make your lips feel like sandpaper. The color is a red/brown color, that you can wear as an everyday or night look. That’s the best part about this lipstick. You can build on it for a deep color without it looking like a hot mess.

Use: Daytime/Evening Lipstick

Price: $17.50

3. Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed Powder

This product made the list because it does a great job controlling my oily skin. The powder is oil free and it gives your skin that Matte finish. I don’t apply the powder with the sponge it comes with, I believe that really cakes it up. Unless you are setting under your eyes, I would recommend using a fluffy foundation brush to apply this for the best results. This powder comes in all shades and is great for combination oily-oily skin types.

Use: Setting powder/Pressed powder for face/neck.

Price: $26

2. Dramatically different moisturizing gel

This one was tough because I really wanted it to be number one. This is one of my favorite products of all time because it really changed my skins life. After struggling for years to find a good skin care routine for oily skin. This product(which is the 3rd step in the Clinique 3 step Acne program), is absolutely amazing. Many myths state that if you have oily skin, you shouldn’t moisturize. That is not true, everyone needs to moisturize, you just need to pick the best one for your skin. This leaves my skin feeling silky and refreshed, never oily. This gel can be purchased in any level of skin type.

1. Acne Solutions Liquid Makeup

Yay, I absolutely love this product. I know I’ve been saying that all post but this is the mother of products. I’ve tried so many foundations from drugstore to high end, and none compare to this one. I’ve been using it for 2.5 years and it never fails me. This is perfect for acne prone skin or with people who need acne medicine in their foundations. The coverage is Medium, but you can make it full coverage by using more product. Essentially, a little bit goes a long way with this foundation. I always recommend this to people because it really soaks into your skin and makes you look like you are wearing nothing.

Use: Face liquid foundation

Price: $28

Before I end this post, here are some honorable mentions:

Clinque Take the Day Off makeup remover – $19

Clinque Pep-Start hydroblur moisturizer -$29

Clinique Chubbettes (lip collection) – $37 LIMITED EDITION
